Product Description:
Spinosad is a new type of biological insecticide, which is derived through the fermentation of Saccharopolyspora spinosa. Spinosad is highly effective for the control of pests from farmland, greenhouses, golf courses, gardens, and homes.
Function Mechanism:
Unique insecticidal mechanism: It alters the function of nicotinic and GABA-gated ion channels, in a manner consistent with the observed neuronal excitation. However, spinosad does not interact with known binding sites for other nicotinic or GABAergic insecticides.
